Trustees
5 Dimensions Trust is governed by a board of trustees who come from a broad range of industries and have a wealth of skills and experience to successfully lead the strategic direction of the Trust. All trustees are appointed for a 4-year term of office. Trustees are invited to join the Effectiveness Committee, Audit and Risk Committee and Finance and Resources Committee.
Mr M Dobell - Chair of Trust Board
Malcolm is a semi-retired railway engineer and an experienced school governor over 20 years. He joined the governing body of the then Hazeley School in 2010 and became chair in 2012. He was elected chair of the Trust on its formation in 2018. He is also a governor of Glastonbury Thorn School, an Infant school in Shenley Church End. He brings his experience of working in a senior position in a very large public sector transport organisation and extensive knowledge of school governance.

Mr G Fitton - Chair Finance, Resource, Audit & Risk Committee
Gary has over 30 years experience working in the financial services industry and is currently the Chief Executive of First Rate Exchange Services. He has extensive board, committee and governance experience. Gary was appointed as a Trustee in February 2022 and is the Chair of the Finance & Resources Committee.
Mr L Bent
Lee has worked in the sport sector for 15 years, developing and implementing strategies and overseeing operational delivery that drives the learning and development of coaches and workforce. Lee uses his passion of using sport and physical activity at the centre of communities to develop young people and give them the opportunity to have the best possible start in life and live a healthy lifestyle.
Mr S Galuszka
Sam brings a financial background to the 5DT Trust Board. An ACCA qualified accountant since 2018, he began his career in commercial audit at Grant Thornton. He currently works as a consultant, providing financial planning & analysis, restructuring and management reporting services to clients. Sam has previously held the position of Finance Manager at a leading UK Science Park, and as an investor at private equity firm, Roycian.
Mrs R Howell
Rebecca is an education governance specialist who has a background in charity leadership, including strategy and risk management. She became involved in governance in 5 Dimensions when her three children were at The Hazeley Academy and served as chair of governors there. Rebecca enjoys hiking and dancing in her free time.

Maggie worked as a GP in Milton Keynes for over 35 years and has served as a Magistrate locally. Maggie started as a governor at The Hazeley Academy before being appointed as a Trustee for 5 Dimensions Trust since its inception. Maggie is now retired and enjoys spending time with family and friends including her 3 grandchildren. Maggie shares responsibility for Safeguarding on the Trust Board.
